Wired nest doorbell Won’t stay connected to my wifi

My nest doorbell is wired (but there doesn’t seem to be an option for that on drop down menu). 

I'm having real issues with it not staying connected to the wifi. 

that unfortunately means that we frequently get the notification that someone was at the door, 3-5 minutes after they’ve left 🤦🏻‍♀️

any tips or tricks to make it work in real time??

Check signal strength at the doorbell, try to relocate router closer to the unit or remove things that interfere with signal.  Sometimes even changing the channel to a less congested one works wonders.
