Wireless doorbell

I have a wireless Google doorbell which has gone offline and also won't charge. Have tried the cord and a similar cord. Neither one will charge the doorbell although they both work elsewhere. Have also tried multiple charging outlets. Thinking i might need a new battery but where can I have this done? Need an authorized dealer.

The battery is not replaceable. Other customers in this forum have reported the same problem. You may want to try contacting Support about a warranty replacement, using the link and instructions in the post below:

Hi folks,

@MplsCustomer, thanks for chiming in.

@lynn4, thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Let me take a look at this for you. A few questions:

  • What is the LED status of your Nest Doorbell? Often, this indicator reveals the situation. For more information about the different LED statuses, refer to Nest camera and doorbell lights and sounds.
  • Are you able to check the camera feed?
  • Did you receive any notification from the Google Home app?
  • Did you notice or experience any power outages recently?

Also, since you've already tried to use its own charging cable and another similar cable with no changes, I recommend you make sure there is no debris or dust in the charging port of your Nest Doorbell. Use a soft-bristled brush or compressed air to clean it out, and make sure the charging cable is properly connected to the Nest Doorbell and the charging block.

Keep us posted. We're happy to help.

Best,

Zoe

No, none of those things work. I looked and saw it was offline. Then I also checked and it needed to be charged. At that point is when I noticed it didn't work at all. Could not charge, no light on the dorrbell, nothing...
