Sigh. Google Nest does not make it easy to change Wi-Fi settings, and there are regular posts like yours here.
Google Nest's first recommendation when getting a new Wi-Fi router/modem is to use the same network name (SSID) and password used on your old router/modem. We did that when we got a new router/modem and didn't have to update any of our Google Nest devices.
If you can't manage to do this, then you're supposed to remove the Google Nest device from the Google Nest app or Google Home app while you are still on your old Wi-Fi network, and then do a factory reset, and then reinstall while on the new Wi-Fi network. Many customers don't know they have to remove the device while still on the old Wi-Fi and find themselves in a dilemma that only Google Nest Support can resolve.
You could try doing a factory reset and then try to reinstall, but that may not work.
