cant verify on iphone?

Why can I sign into nest (with migrated account) on my ipad and macbook but all of a sudden cannot sign into google nest on my iphone? "device can't be verified", try to verify but keeps asking the same questions, wont verify! I have used this phone for years. Tried changing passwords, resetting cache, approve device was me, nothing works.

I tried searching this forum for "device can't be verified" but can't find any posts at all.

Are you getting this error in the Google Nest app or the Google Home app? On your phone, you could try deleting and reinstalling the app where you are getting the error.

If your password was working on your iPad and on your MacBook, why would you try changing it?

Perhaps you should consider contacting Support, so you can walk through what's happening in detail:

I have the same problem, both with the Nest app and the Chrome app.  I think it started when I updated to the latest iOS, 16.4.1.  Someone asked the same question on the Apple community forum and the only reply was, "it's a Google problem".  The more I search the more folks I find with this problem.  But no answers...

Thanks for taking some steps beforehand — these are of great help! Just to confirm, when logging into your Nest app, are you choosing the Sign in Google or the Sign in with Nest option? Take a look at this article for your guidance: Troubleshoot Nest app sign-in issues.

Hi.  Choosing Sign in with Google.  I migrated from Nest to Google so that is the only option.  Signing in with Google had worked for many, many months but has stopped.  I think it stopped after the recent iOS upgrade to 16.4.1

Try reinstalling your Nest app and Chrome web browser. Also, try using a different mobile phone. Looking forward to your response.
