changed my wifi provider, now I need to reset each device manually

I have an Alexa echo - I just went into the app and changed the wifi network it should connect to.  For all my GOOGLE devices (2 minis, a mesh system, cam with floodlight) i need to factory reset each one.  I've read the instructions using "help" and they all say the same thing.  It's unbelievable.

So now I need to borrow a ladder so I can press a button on the back of my floodlight cam so that I can change the wifi network for that device (and lose all my current data/videos), as well as go through resets for each and every google device I own.

This is a ridiculous interface.

I just bought a nest doorbell but haven't installed it yet.  It needs to go back - i don't need this kind of madness.
