I am looking at the outdoor nest cams but do not want to keep recharging the batteries. I am not being able to find any documentation saying if these cams have POE capability. If they do not then I will be looking for other options. running a cat 6 wire I can do. A power line is a bit out of my scope. Thank you for any insight you can offer.

Sadly, they do not have POE.

If you have an outdoor electrical outlet within 30 feet or so of the camera's proposed location, you could also purchase the optional 10-meter power cable. That's how we power our Google Nest Camera (Battery), with a weatherproof cover on the outlet.

You can get PoE to USB power adaptors but its a bit of a kludge.
