Google Nest does not have a good way to change Wi-Fi settings on many of its devices. So their first recommendation is this:
"The simplest fix for most Nest products is to update your home network so that the network name (SSID) and password are the same as they were before. This will usually work even if you’ve purchased a new Wi-Fi router, as long as the manufacturer settings are the same."
If you can't do that, for the battery doorbell have to remove the doorbell from the Google Home app while you are still on the old Wi-Fi network. If you don't do that, you have to do a factory reset.

You might have to connect the doorbell to the metal bracket before it will turn on.

My neighbor couldn't get there's to rejoin no matter what google support recommended. They got angry smashed it and went amd bought a product that works and has after sales service from memory it may have been a "ring" doorbell.
