Hi @Livetoride,

Thanks for posting on the community! I understand you were trying to connect your Nest Doorbell (2nd generation) to your new router. Let me share some information with you.

To reconnect your Nest Doorbell (2nd generation) to your new router, you'll need to perform a factory reset on the doorbell. This will completely erase the old Wi-Fi data. In case you don't know how to perform this process, let me share the steps!

  • Locate the reset pinhole above the QR code on the back of the doorbell.
  • Insert and hold a pin (like an unfolded paperclip or thumbtack).
  • At 10 seconds, the status light blinks yellow four times, with a countdown tone.
  • At 12 seconds, the light turns solid yellow, and you'll hear a confirmation tone as the reset begins.
  • Release the pin. Your doorbell will restore to factory settings.
  • After the reset, the doorbell will show as “Offline” until you remove it from the app: Open the app, then tap Settings > Remove device > Confirm.

Once completed, you can set up your doorbell again in the Google Home app. Let me know if you need any further assistance or have more questions! I'm happy to help.

Best regards,

Debora
