Hi,
i *think* this issue started with iOS17 beta, but even now with the RC version the problem persists.
The notifications do get sent and I’ll even see them flash up on my phone, but then they’ll just vanish, they aren’t even available when you swipe up on the lock screen to see the history.
The weird thing is, it doesn’t happen on all notifications, but I’d say at a guess 90% of them.
This happens for a battery doorbell and two battery cams, the old gen 1 indoor camera on the Nest platform is unaffected.
Any help appreciated!
App version: 3.6.104
Dave.

iOS 17, by itself, is not the cause. We upgraded to iOS 17 on our iPhones and do NOT have the issue.

Insane that this is still an issue this long after this has been posted.
But I think found somewhat of a solution for iOS. In the notification settings for the Google home app (in settings app), I turned on Time Sensitive notifications and changed the banner type to persistent. I kept missing motion notifications but so far this seems to be a little more reliable. It’s only been about 24 hours of testing so time will tell. Hopefully Google actually updates the app with a permanent fix soon

Both of those options are already on for me. No difference.

We've had "Time Sensitive Notifications" turned on under Settings | Google Home for a long time, but with "Banner Style" set to "Temporary", and are NOT experiencing disappearing notifications from the Google Home app.

This didn't change anything for me - same problem, same disappearing notifications.

Same for me also.
I have had feedback from the senior customer support, he confirmed that the issue is with their Dev team.
Ironically I got an email that they are increasing the price of Google Nest Aware from €100 to €120, a 20% increase on a service that doesnt work- their timing is impeccable!!!!

I see folks still struggling with this Google product I will recommend the Eufy Doorbell and or Cameras this thing just works and the best feature is that it has a home base which it stores all the content plus you can access it online without a subscription! Please review YouTube videos to make sure it fits your needs.

Canceled my Nest Aware subscription. Good luck to all experiencing this! I'm moving on to a different brand. Ridiculous.

I would do this but I already have 2 Nest outdoor cams, one Nest floodlight cam and a Nest doorbell. So I’m in deep already…
