iPhone and iPad go to sleep when watching live camera feeds on Google Home

This doesn’t happen on the Nest App. I’m up-to-date for the app on my iPad and iPhone. 

There should be a way to watch a live stream without the device going to sleep WITHOUT changing my settings for the entire device.

To gather more information, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • What model is your camera?
  • Have you experienced this situation before?
  • Does this occur with all your cameras, or just one?

In the meantime, I'd suggest the following:

 

  • Make sure your iPhone and iPad software are up-to-date.
  • Try using a different mobile device. If possible, using an Android device can help isolate the inconvenience.
