For the love of everything holy....
This cannot be so difficult.
Why can't the iPhone push notification sound be customized?
Forcing it to be the same as text messages is ridiculous. When there is a storm or something and I get many notifications, I have to keep looking at my phone and miss text messages... AND when the doorbell rings, I often ignore when I am busy, and it should be a priority.
I cannot believe this is such a difficult thing to do.
Please get it done! Every other major application has a distinct sound.

Great point! I’m trying to figure out how to “ring” my doorbell through speakers. Is it possible they overlooked something so obvious?

Really makes me want to go get a Ring doorbell now. Absurd that this isn’t an option. I never would have purchased it had I known and I will tell as many people as I can to save their money and get a Ring doorbell instead.

I don’t know… Do all Nest notifications share the same fixed notification sound as the default text tone?
Seems like something so fundamental.

Hi there, rchorowitz.
Yes, there is no way to change the notification sounds. It is just the default tone as it is now. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience! Please let me know how else I can assist you.
Best Regards,
Brad.

Is is possible to send as an SMS rather than a push so the tone can be saved as a contact?
Are there any plans to make that change?
I have so many Nest devices that It is really an issue

My Apple Watch vibrate when someone press the doorbell button but no sound from my iPhone 12 Pro. As I’m not watching the screen 24/7 how can I see if someone press the button on the doorbell?
