Hello,
I want to replace outdoor lights for the nest camera (battery). I want to connect these cameras to power so I don't need to charge them. For this I want to use the weatherproof nest camera cable.
Because I am replacing a lamp, I have a power point. However, I would like to connect the camera directly to the power point (wires) so that I do not have to put a socket on the wall. In fact, I would then have a socket right next to the camera.
So is it possible to connect the camera directly to the power point and how?
Thanks in advance!

The challenge you would have is that, to power your battery camera, there is a power adapter on the end of the optional power cable (https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_cam_weatherproof_cable), and that power adapter is designed to plug into a standard electrical outlet.
Maybe you should consider the floodlight camera instead. It includes the same battery camera, but the fixture is designed to be hard-wired, and the power adapter is incorporated into the fixture.
