is it possible to get alert sound notifications on mobile, when there's activity on the nest doorbell?

So I get push notifications but also a sound.

Hi Jusab, yes.

Camera alerts are notifications you receive on your phone or tablet when your Google Nest camera or doorbell detects important activity.

Important things to know before setting up

• You must use the Nest app to receive camera alerts and change notification settings for your camera, even if you use your Nest camera in the Home app.
• The notification options you get depend on the type of camera you have and whether you’re subscribed to Nest Aware.
• You can choose to receive notifications for everything your camera detects, or choose only certain types of activity. You can get a push notification on your phone or tablet, get an email, or both

Set up camera alerts

1. Open the Nest app.
2. On the app home screen, tap Settings 
3. Select Notifications.
4. Select the camera that you want to change alert settings for and select from the options below.

And Select push notification, email, or both to send alerts to the Nest app or email.

This still doesn't answer how to get audible alerts on your phone for activity.  My husband receives them, but I only get push alert notifications

Does this mean if you have a samsung tablet you can get doorbell announcements? Similar to that of the Google hub?

Thanks for the article. But it doesn't answer my question. I want a sound notification, like the clock coupled with Spotify.

I am unsure if you will be able to get notifications for Spotify on your device. I did some research on my side, and I am not finding anything showing a notification setting for them. I know this is not the most ideal answer, but please let me know if you have any other questions.

Did you ever get an answer? My husband phone gives a sound alert but I cannot figure out how to fix it on my phone.

Go to settings in your phone, then select app, then select home and go from there.  I was able to get my phone to vibrate when the doorbell rings, but not make a sound.  I tend to not have sounds for my notifications, so it might be a general setting i have that has to be enable.

Hey. I got a similar need. I need a sound notification (not just a simple text notification) on my android phone when my Google n'est camera detected something. I don't find any configuration for my need. Maybe it's not able easily at the time. Thanks for your help.

But it seems a so obvious need ... I'm a little be disappointed that it's not possible at the time.
