Hello, I've tried in vain to connect my new nest-cam 2G to wifi. I know the wifi password is correct, for I have verified it from multiple other devices. The camera is sitting less than a metre from the router. Could the product be faulty?

Sorry to hear about that. What message do you get in the Google Home app during the install? Also, what is the color of the LED lights during the install?
