I had my wife ring the bell and if I am looking at the phone then it is instant . The notification is just a pop up on my phone when I am away from home and unless I am looking right at the phone the notification is just the same as other notifications unlike when I am home and on the same network as the door bell I get a verbal that someone rang the doorbell. It would be nice if the notification when you are not on the same network was more distinctive or could be made.more destinctive
