My nest doorbell which has worked for 3 years disconnected from the WiFi yesterday and is refusing to rejoin. I have refet it and deleted from the nest app but I am unable to get it to reconnect.
it shows either error nc005, nc006 or nc007 after trying to join my Google WiFi.
these errors or stated as being in relation to the wrong password, but I have copied the password from my Android share WiFi settings...
I am annoyed and baffled

I understand your frustration with your Nest doorbell's connectivity issues. Error codes like nc005, nc006, and nc007 usually indicate problems with the Wi-Fi connection setup. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the problem:
Verify Wi-Fi Password: Ensure that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password. Even if you've copied it from your Android settings, it's worth double-checking. Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive.
Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Check the Wi-Fi signal strength where your Nest doorbell is installed. Weak signals can cause connectivity problems. If the signal is weak, consider moving your Wi-Fi router closer to the doorbell or installing a Wi-Fi range extender.
Reboot Router: Sometimes, routers can have issues that affect device connections. Try unplugging your Wi-Fi router, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in. Allow it to fully reboot before attempting to reconnect your doorbell.
Reset the Doorbell: If it's still not working, try a factory reset on your Nest doorbell. This will erase all settings, so be prepared to set it up again. The reset process usually involves holding down a button or using a pin to press a reset button on the device.
Update Firmware: Ensure that your Nest doorbell has the latest firmware updates. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues.
Check for Interference: Other electronic devices, walls, or objects may interfere with your Wi-Fi signal. Make sure there are no significant obstacles between your router and the doorbell.
Contact Nest Support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it's a good idea to contact Nest support. They can provide specific guidance and may be aware of any known issues or solutions related to your model of doorbell.
Network Settings: In some cases, specific router settings like MAC address filtering or firewall rules can cause connectivity issues. Review your router's settings to ensure there are no restrictions on your doorbell's access.
Remember that troubleshooting Wi-Fi connectivity issues can be a bit complex, so don't hesitate to reach out to Nest support for assistance if needed. They can provide more specific guidance based on the exact model of your doorbell and any unique characteristics of your network.
