nest wired camera cord how to replace

I have a nest outdoor camera that is wired and the cord is falling part from sun damage. How do I replace the power cord. The camera still works. The nest I have, the cord cannot be unplugged from the camera. What are my options?

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Nest Outdoor Camera power cord that is being damaged by the sun. Since this is a wired camera and the cord cannot be disconnected from the camera, we recommend you cover the power cord so it cannot continue being damaged, and the last option will be to replace the complete camera.
