outdoor camera off-line, will not reconnect

One outdoor camera (that I've had for several years, the first of four) went off-line. The Nest app setup/reconnect does not show that serial number - or any other. Also tried adding it as a new camera: same issue. The Google home app tells me I have to add it through the Nest app. I have two routers in my house: I tried using both (matched on my phone). I reset routers/modems. Checked security settings. Good strong wifi signal, router 10 feet away from the outdoor camera on the same wall.

I unplugged the camera and plugged it back in. Tested outlet. Swapped camera power cord with another cam: issue is not the cord. All other devices, all other cameras, are working. I can't get this camera back online.

Since I've had it, that camera would frequently go off-line; the last time I had to reconnect it, about 4 months ago, it seemed to hold and stopped going off line all the time. Until now. Camera on. Appears no lights showing on cam itself.

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad
