I paid for a subscription and now yesterday I get an email saying my trial has ended, it appears I paid $88.00 for what? trying to get help from google is....... waiting on the phone for an hour now, sending in my problem through their customer support and hearing nothing. Very frustrating dealing with this outfit.

You can check your current subscription here: https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-US
In the Google Home app, you can also check your subscription by going to Settings | Nest Aware.
You can also go to your camera in the Google Home app and see if you have History and Full History.
Hopefully, your paid subscription has started, and your trial subscription just happened to end about the same time.
