signing in to nest on my iMac

Hi all . i have several nest cams. The problem i have is solely with my iMac when clicking on the nest icon in favourites it allways asks me to sign in using google.Why is this as on my iPhone/ipad this is not the case they just log straight in.I believe i have migrated the account to google, what about using the google home app? please help so i can log in quickly.

Hello,  I'm an end user like you and have been frustrated by this issue for a few years.  I have send endless feedback comments to GOOGLE/NEST and nothing has changed.    If I view my cameras and then close window and come back about an hour later I have re-login.   

There is one option that might help.  Google is in the process of replacing www.home.nest.com with a new website home.google.com.  This is a PREVIEW version and it still lacks a lot of features.  But the good news is once you long it it almost never asks  you to login again.  The bad news is you can only view LIVE cameras.  It has been over 5 Months and there is still no way to view recorded events.

Still a problem and will be until Google/nest address this issue.
