1st Chromecast still worth?

Hi! Recently here in Spain SD aerial TV channels were finally shut down. As I had (kept in drawer, though) a 1st Generation Chromecast I was wondering if I could still use it to watch HD channels in my 2007 old LED TV?

What do you think?

Thanks in advance!

🙂

Hi @jJan

That Chromecast will still work for casting content to your TV.  Your TV will need an HDMI input and you'll need wifi. The over the air channels may have a stream you can cast but that would depend on them. No harm in trying it out and seeing what shows you can find.
