Ambient Mode on Android TV is missing Date and Location on Chromecast Built-in.

Hi Everyone,

My Android tv running version 9 doesn't show the Date and Location of the pictures that are coming up in the ambient mode. The setting in the Google Home app (Personal photo data: Show the owner's name and the album name) is set to show but as the setting suggests, it only shows/hides the Album Name.

How could the date/location be turned on as it appears on standalone Chromecast?

Thanks.

Chromecast Built-In are slightly different animals than "regular" Chromecast devices.  The manufacturer that puts that in can change or limit features.

We've seen ones where Ambient is totally different (no control, just what the manufacturer sets).  It sounds like your is close but not the same.  If you have everything in your TV updated, it may be that the manufacturer decided it didn't like the time and date and location and took it out.
