Bauhn TV and soundbar problems

Hi, I just got Chromecast with Google TV (upgrade from second gen Chromecast) and my Bauhn 4K TV or my Bauhn soundbar can't be found on the available list of products 😞 and volume needs to be adjusted from the tv remote, your help will be appreciated

Hi Ericoz,

 

Thanks for reaching out. If your TV is not on the list, it means that it isn't compatible with the Voice Remote. Although there are TV brands that can be set up for Chromecast with Google TV however, not pairable/compatible with the Voice Remote. 

 

As a workaround, you may try to choose a different brand from the list, which in your view has the same country of manufacture as the TV. You may also search for TV remote codes online and see if any other brand matches the same code as Bauhn, and select that other brand instead. However, please take note that this step may or may not work.

It looks hopeless at the moment, Bauhn support people just saying "try some other TV and soundbar" but considering that there's so many of them listed for Chromecast it's pointless to even try IMHO
