Binge & Kayo frozen at start up yet can cast fine

Issues with only binge and Kayo apps on the chrome cast freezing when starting them. No issues casting to the chrome cast. Tried restarting router rebooting chrome cast. Forcing the app to close

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. This must be a Chromecast with Google TV. If all other apps are working fine except for these two, we may need to check other factors that may cause this. Since you’ve tried to force-close the app, try clearing the cache and data. You may try to reinstall the apps, but ensure first that your Chromecast device has the latest firmware version. Go to Settings > System > About > System Update. If it persists, isolate the possibility of a network issue by disconnecting your Chromecast device from your Wi-Fi and connecting it to your phone’s mobile hotspot. Observe if the same behavior persists. Let us know how it goes.
