Stream music from Google TV to Chromecast connected to a receiver

I have a Sony TV running Google TV. I'd like to stream the same youtube music on the TV to a chromecast connected to a receiver. Can this be done? I have a 1st gen Chromecast laying around but I don't mind buying the latest version if that's what it takes.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. These are still considered two different devices. Be it an older or a newer Chromecast version, it would still work individually. Casting to Chromecast is one-to-one (1:1), casting source to casting destination.
