Bluetooth not working anymore

I am trying to set up this soundbar i got that has Bluetooth. My phone can see it just fine, along with the 7 other Bluetooth devices here.

But apparently, the chromecast cant see ANY bluetooth devices despite the fact that the speaker is ON and PAIRING 5 INCHES AWAY FROM THE CHROMECAST.

Please help.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. Let's check on this further.

 

A few questions: What type of Chromecast device do you have? If you have a Chromecast with Google TV, have you already paired this to your Chromecast before or will it be the first time pairing?  Does your Bluetooth device connect to other devices?

 

Try these steps:

  1. Reboot your Bluetooth device.
  2. Make sure your Bluetooth device is near the Chromecast.
  3. Disconnect other Bluetooth devices. Note: You can only connect one audio device at a time.
  4. Reboot your TV for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. Once the TV is on, try pairing again.
  5. Check if the Bluetooth device pairs with other devices.
  6. Reboot your Chromecast.
  7. Reset your Chromecast.

Hello, i have tried all these steps and found out it does work, but it can only see my wireless headphones, but not the soundbar.

Hi Scottycool64,

 

Sorry for the late response. Could you please check the settings of your soundbar and make sure that it is visible to pair with other devices? Also, make sure that your soundbar isn't connected to any other devices and if you have other Bluetooth devices paired with the CGTV, please disconnect them before pairing it to your soundbar.

 

Note: If the Bluetooth device won't connect, it could be an issue with the Bluetooth device or the TV. Please reach out to your soundbar manufacturer.
