I’ve reset my chromecast, updated my phone, updated my apps, made sure my local network access is on, and I still receive this message:
Master bedroom tv may be set up, but we could not communicate with it from your iPhone. Make sure that you have enabled local network access in your privacy settings and try again.
Local network access is definitely on. i don’t know how else to solve this issue. My phone used to connect no problem. Chrome cast light is white, both devices on same wifi

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help, Grammsay. I appreciate it.
Walsh, have you tried the last step suggested by Grammsay? If yes, how was it? You can also try to manually connect to the Chromecast SSID. Here's how: Go to the phone’s Settings > Open WiFi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set up again.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Walsh,
If this does not work, be sure to restart both your phone and your wifi router.

Hey again Walsh,
I'm sorry to hear the issue persists. Have you tried factory resetting your Chromecast, too?

Hi Grammsay, yes I have reset my Chromecast. As I said in my original question 'I’ve reset my chromecast, updated my phone, updated my apps, made sure my local network access is on'.

Hey again,
Sorry, must've missed that! What type of iPhone is it? Additionally, have you tried to set it up with a different tv?

Hi Jennifer. I hadn't tried to connecting to another TV. But I tried your suggestion of manually connecting to the chromecast SSID and the chromecast is now connected to the TV! Thanks so much
