After installing my chromecast with google tv on my personal account, i added my friend´s google account.
In the accounts menu I can choose my own account, configure a child account and I see my friends account.
However when I select my friend´s account, I only get the option to remove her account.
What am I missing?

Leaving a comment for the solution. I have the same problem on my 2nd google tv device.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry for the late response. Could you please try to remove all the accounts linked to your device and add them back? Also, make sure the firmware version of your device is updated. Rebooting your Chromecast with Google TV (4K) might also help.

Hi Jennifer,
The steps themselves did not work. So i left the settings the same and i since last week i have noticed the account i added is now also selectable. No settings or manual update. It just works now. Thank you for your time though.
