Casting not working

Last week I was able to cast from my Macbook just fine, from the time I clicked cast, the option to cast from my TV was there. Now, this week, all I'm seeing is "no devices found" PLEASE HELP!!

Quick questions: What Operating System (OS) do you use? Is the Google Chrome browser version updated? Please make sure your MacBook is on the same network as the Chromecast device. Also, ensure that the Chrome browser is up-to-date. For more troubleshooting steps, please visit this support website article.

Hi Jennifer. Yes the browser is updated, and  both the MacBook and the tv are on the same network
