I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but here goes. My Chrome cast says "Non standard power supply detected. To stream in 4k use the power supply included. I thought I was using the power supply from the box. I can stream ok but not sure if the stream is in 4k? Should I be concerned about this?

Hi Noel_C,
The Chromecast ultra will detect when you are not using the supplied power adapter and cable that came shipped with the device. It needs more power than some standard power adapters supply and the official one also has an ethernet connection.

Hi sorry for late reply. I,m unable to locate original lead and assume I used the one from my old chrome cast. Can a new lead be purchased?
