Chromecast 4 HD, IPTV problem with image smoothness

Hello, 

 

I have a problem with watching IPTV on Tivi mate and other IPTV apps, the image does not work smoothly, it freezes. There's no problem with other apps like netflix, disney, youtube, only with IPTV apps. All started after last updates , before wasn't a problem.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. It seems that your Chromecast device is working as intended since the issue is isolated to this app only. Try to troubleshoot the app by clearing the cache and/or reinstalling the app if needed. If it persists, it could be network-related. You can isolate it by disconnecting it from your Wi-Fi and connecting it to another network. You can use your phone’s mobile hotspot if there’s no other network available. Observe it and let us know how it goes.

Hello , I've did all the steps and still have a problem with iptv smoothness, I've think its all with firmware problem.

DariuszG: niestety ta wersja tak ma. Na kanałach FHD obraz przez chwilę jest ok a po chwili już zacina/przymraża. Dzwięk leci poprawnie. Coś tam chyba z firmware pop...li. Niestety temat na ten moment nie do rozwiązania - chyba dopiero w nowym firmware, tylko nie wiadomo kiedy.

I to jest prawda , bo przed update wczesniejszym tak nie było, pobrałem niedawno wersje testową update i nadal jest to samo, pozostaje chyba zmienic urzadzenie

Ja dochodzę do tego że trzeba sprzedać/wydać to urządzenie. Niestety Google chyba nie widzi tego problemu, a może to celowe działanie aby utrudnić oglądanie IPTV.

Thanks for posting. There’s an ongoing update that will be rolled out in the coming days. It includes patch fixes for most of the recognized bugs. Although this may not be a recognized bug, hopefully the update helps. You may need to give it a few more days since the estimated completion time of the updates is until the end of October. Once you have the update available, make sure to install it. If it's not available yet, give it a few more days. Let us know if you have other concerns.

Żeby ekran się nie zacinał trzeba włączyć tunelowanie w tivimate lub ott mam ten sam problem że ekran po chwili zaczyna klatkować.

Proszę to naprawić bo na mibox działa bez problemu.

Nie chodzi tu o VPN a o opcje dostepna w platnej wersji tivimate , tunelowanie.

Nie zacina na żadnym innym android boxie...tylko na Google Chromecast 4. Z tego co słyszałem to głównie objawia się na wersji Google Chromecast HD a na wersji 4K jakby nie.

Mówisz...opcja tunelowania pomaga? Sprawdzę gdzie taką funkcję się włącza w ott.

i have the same problem, after few seconds image stutters. Same on VLC, or any streaming app. Problem only on Chromecast 4 HD

Thanks for posting here. I’m assuming that you’re using a Chromecast with Google TV, just like everyone else here in this thread. You mentioned that this stutter happens on any streaming app (Netflix, Disney+, YouTube TV, etc.), which is different from what others experience. If you already tried a factory reset and it persists, try to isolate the possibility of a network issue by disconnecting your Chromecast device from your Wi-Fi and connecting it to your phone’s mobile hotspot to observe. Test each of the apps and let us know how it goes.

Its not NETFLIX or Disney. Only live streamings.
