So, I bought a Chromecast with Google TV and a pair of Google Nest Audio speakers. I paired up the two speakers into stereo mode, but, to my surprise, I found that Google TV does NOT have an audio cast feature. There is no built in ecosystem to seamlessly connect nest speakers to the chromecast.
From all that I have found you have to pair with Bluetooth and with that comes all the wonderful Bluetooth problems like occasional choppiness or lag.
Am I missing something?
I am now finding that some movies on some apps, especially Disney + will not output audio to Bluetooth, seems to be a known issue for some.

Every wireless audio transmission may experience dropouts, lag, etc, because you have to take into account the surrounding environment and the quality of transmission equipment.
However, if you want a reliable and high quality sound signal you can always use a wired audio connection (digital coaxial, digital optical or RCA) between Google Chromecast with Google TV and your speakers or audio system. You have the option to send the audio signal to your audio system via TV HDMI ARC/optical/coaxial/RCA, via HDMI switch with audio extractor or through direct connection to an audio receiver.
Google Nest speaker is a wireless audio equipment and it comes with all the hassles of this technology and the fact that you can't expect high fidelity sound from it. It is just a practical device for people who consider they need it.
