Hi there,
I've used my 2nd gen Chromecast on many different devices across different countries.
I'm currently trying to set it up in a hotel room on the hotel's WiFi.
Everything works correctly until the very final step where it is attempting to connect with the hotel WiFi. It's at this point it says connection can not be made, but it never prompts me for the password? This strikes me as strange as I'm always asked for the WiFi password. Any way around this?

Hi David,
Sometimes hotels use captive portal logins which send you to a 'welcome page' to log in. You would notice that when connecting your phone prompts or directs you to a local page asking for login details/room details.
If this is the case, Chromecast won't support it. If not, let me know.
The easiest way to get around this is to use a personal hotspot from another device.
Hope this helps
