Chromecast stopped working today.

My Chromecast has been working great, until today. When I open the Home app and try to cast my screen it won't work anymore. However, if I cast my screen from an App (Discovery+ for example) it works fine. I have tried everyting i.e. reboot, reset, on/off, reconnecting to WiFi etc etc but it still won't cast my phone. What can I do?

You can try factory reset your Chromecast.

Please be sure to remove it from the Google Home app before setting it up like a new device. 🙂
