Chromecast stuck on reboot loop when pairing a remote

Hello, 

My new Chromecast device is stuck on the remote pairing. What I see is 'Press the button' screen. After pressing the button on the remote, device reboots and displays the same screen again. Soft reset of the device does not help.

Has anyone had the same problem? What may cause this issue?

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to get your Chromecast and Chromecast Voice Remote set up? If not, I'd be happy to help you out, since this issue sounds pretty frustrating. In this scenario, I would first factory reset the Chromecast Voice Remote. Then, if the problem persists, go ahead and factory reset the Chromecast device.
