Chromecast with Google TV July update seems to have broken usb hub support.

After the July update, I'm having issues with USB hubs. I had 2 that had been working for over a year for both thumb drives and integrated Gig ethernet. The built-in Ethernet port would have issues reconnecting after a restart. Going to an external USB 3.0 "A" adapter did allow things to work. But not the internal. I tried several other models with similar issues. When I try to add a thumb drive now ( 32 gig formatted to Fat32) I can see the drive. But if I move to select it, the unit returns to the main screen. Again with multiple different hubs. I did a factory reset and the issues are still there.  Plenty of power with 45w Anker power supplies.  All were working prior to the upgrade. 

Anyone else?

I had the same issue with my 3 x Google TV units.  Don't know why, buy when I used a higher power supply (65W), they recognized the USB peripherals (USB thumb drive and wireless keyboard)

TBurba, you may try the step that Ajkvancouver did and check if this will also work for you. You may also try to reboot your Chromecast and Hub.
