Chromecast with Google TV not loading applications

Hey all

My chromecast with google tv has decided to not load any of the applications except for youtube, netflix and amazon prime.  Whenever you attempt to load any of the others it says there is a connection error, even though I can access it off my phone or web browser and cast it onto the tv that way.

I have attempted many times to factory reset it but it does not fix the issues

 

Any other suggestions?

From the Google TV home screen, at the top right, go to the profile icon and select Settings. Restart. Once the system restarts, play your video, music, or game again. 

This has not worked.. as well as factory resetting the device

JamesBill101, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having an issue with the apps on your Chromecast with Google TV. Please try to clear the cache and data of the affected apps and reboot your Chromecast with Google TV again. Uninstalling and reinstalling the affected apps might also help.

the issue was resolved ty.  however it was a connection issue not the applications itself
