Chromecast with Google tv won't Autoplay Netflix or YouTube tv

Running latest version of Android tv and when I tell a home speaker "play ESPN on Google TV" which is name of the device the tv will turn in and display the home screen of Google tv but it will not complete the action and go to ESPN. On an old Chromecast it turns in the tv AND starts playing ESPN. Obviously ESPN is being displayed through YouTube tv. The same workflow for Netflix works on an old Chromecast. The new one does not. I do have multiple users on the Chromecast with Google TV. Not sure if this plays a role. Help! This was a magical workflow I used daily!

• What version of Google Home are you using?
• Does this occur only when using the assistant on your speaker, or on all of your assistant devices?
