Hi, I’ve had to factory reset my chromecast after changing internet supplier and now it’s stuck on the welcome page and it’s not showing up on the home app.
I’ve tried all the listed steps to troubleshoot and nothing worked. Reset the Wi-Fi, re installed the home app and still nothing. Any help greatly welcomed.

I'm having similar issues and have to wonder if its related to a Google app or rogram/android update?

It was an iPhone I was using to set it up and an early model chromecast not exactly sure which. Still having the same issue

Did this disconnected, connected again and reset
Added it again to Google home. It doesn't seem to link to Google play services.
Chromecast gives me a message saying it has been set up but can't be found

I was able to set my Chromecast up in another house using an old Samsung phone andbtheir internet provider and router. It then worked with my phone.
Does this mean it's my router or internet provider that is the problem?
