Chromecast won't sign into Google account

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: are you trying to set up a device? What Chromecast device do you have connected to your TV? What steps have you tried? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

• Reinstall the Google Home app.
• Try to log it in manually.
• If it’s a Chromecast with Google TV, try to log in using the remote.
• If it persists, try a factory reset, then set it up from scratch.

Do you already have a Google Home account set up? If yes, you just need to install the Google Home app and sign in with the same email address you used when setting up your Chromecast device.
