I'm currently on holiday and have brought the chromecast with me. The WiFi here is free and there is no password to connect to it. However, a password is needed through a browser to connect to the Interneti. It's a similar setup to the majority of free WiFi hotspots where you would have to register and login to actually use the Internet. Is there any way of doing this through the chromecast?

You can't connect Chromecast to captive portal networks, like the ones used in hotels.
Your solution, in cases like this, is the use of a travel mobile router.
