I recently hooked back up my Chromecast with Google TV and have been trying to control it using voice through the Nest Hub. Unfortunately when I ask it to turn on a specific channel on the TV it will try to cast that channel from the nest hub rather than just using Chromecast to open Youtube TV and tuning to the channel. Has anyone had any luck using nest hub to control the Chromecast with google tv without casting? If it's not going to work I'll have to switch back to firetv.
