Getting ads on chromecast with youtube premium

When i'm watching youtube premium on my chromecast.

before each video one or two spots, and all 10 to 15 minutes another short ad.

 

Ho can i disable this.
It startet a week ago. and im surely logged in.

Playing videos with smartphone or direct app one that google tv i get no ads.

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • Is this only happening on the YouTube app on Google TV?

Hi,

it is not the YouTube ab, it's only when we're using the cast button on our browsers on our computers or laptops. it happens on my Chromecast ultra as well.

 

It started a few years ago but stopped somehow.

then it happened again. now it stops again. I cannot reproduce that constantly. hard to say what's the cause..

I see, that's no good! It looks like this was an issue in the past, but we haven't seen reports in a while. Would you be able send feedback via YouTube saying that you are experiencing an issue where you get ads when you are casting YouTube Premium? That way the engineering team is aware the issue is still happening to some extent.
