Google Home can't locate older Chromecast device to set up in new network

I have an existing chromecast which has been dormant for years. I am now trying to connect using iPhone Google Home app. I have performed a factory reset on the device and when I open the Home app, I don't see it. I can see the one on the other TV. It's as if the device is not communicating with the iPhone.

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay. What is its distance from your Wi-Fi router? Try to turn off and on your WiFi from the setup device, then try it again. Relinking the Google Home app can also help fix this.
