Google Home not finding Chromecast with Google TV

My Google Home app is not finding my Chromecast with Google TV. The Chromecast itself is working fine but without it showing up in Google Home I can no longer cast any of the apps I have on my tablet and I can't do screen mirroring. They're definitely connected to the same network. I've tried every power down and reset possible, Google Home is up to date, I'm at a loss. Any help is appreciated.
