When on Google TV, the main menu will not verify my HBO, SHOWTIME that I have subscriptions through my cable provider.
Does not allow me to go further after "Can't verify your Subscription" dialogue box.
Been trying for days...

Hi @Wmt ,
You may need to verify the log in with the individual services. It might not be the log in you use for the cable company but a unique one you'd use for HBO or Showtime.

I believe I have tried that.
I have tried platforms sign-in on multiple devices.
Tried emailing Google One who directs me to YouTube TV.
Google TV does not give me the option to sign in with Cable Provider.
HBO, Showtime, AMC, will not recognize allow me to sign in.

Can you sign into those services on your phone or computer? That way we can verify that log in.

I can sign in on phones, laptops, but it does not change my Google TV screen that comes with the new Chromecast.

No, I have been given nothing else to work with, tho I continue to try.
If i sign in thru HBO MAX or SHOWTIME it still does not let me sign in on the Google TV screen on my Samsung television.
When I sign in thru PlayStore, the only option besides "this device" on the pull down menu is "Android TV.
That does not work either.

Wmt, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having trouble signing in to HBO Max and Showtime on your Chromecast with Google TV (4k). Could you please try to reboot your Chromecast with Google (4k) and plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV? Also, try to clear cache and data the affected apps and reinstall it.
If the issue persists, please reset your Chromecast device. You might also want to reach out to HBO Max or Showtime for further help.
