Google TV app nog available in my country

Hi there,

I am in Australia and I cannot download apps to Google TV (Chromecast) as it states that app is not available in my country.

I don’t have any other android device so I have taken the following steps:

1. Google Home app on iOS added my home address via Setting > Home information > Home address

2. Google pay > Payment Methods > added Australian Credit Card

3. Google TV : cleared catch. Then is did a factory reset and installed everything again.

Still I am unable to download Australian apps and states that apps are not available in my country.

What else can I do?

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. What type of Chromecast with Google TV do you have, is it the 4K or HD? If you're having trouble downloading the apps on your Chromecast with Google TV, please reboot your Chromecast with Google TV. If the issue persists, use a different Google Account and test.
