Google TV remote not working.

I have the Chromecast with Google TV however my remote has stopped working we have changed batteries etc. There is no LED light at all on the remote

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that your Voice Remote is not working. Let's sort this out.

A few questions:

1. Was anything spilled onto the device?
2. Were there any attempts to disassemble the device?
3. Can you confirm if the metal contacts of the battery terminal look contaminated, blocked, or discolored?

Try these steps:

1. Reinstall the batteries after 5 minutes.
2. Unpair and reset the Voice Remote, then pair it back:
   a. On the TV interface, go to Settings > Remotes and Accessories > Chromecast Remote > Forget.
   b. Perform a factory data reset (FDR) on the Voice Remote: Remove the batteries for 5 minutes > Hold the Home  button while you reinstall the batteries >          When the LED starts to blink, release the button.
   c. Pair the Voice Remote again.
3. Factory reset the Chromecast device and factory reset the Voice Remote again.
