How long are chromecast 4 gen devices be supported?

¿How long are chromecast with google tv devices be getting updates for?

im pretty sure chromecast with google tv HD comes with android 12, once i buy the device,  how long is it going to get patches or at least the minimum to have apps working correctly?

They haven't stopped support for any of the Chromecast devices and haven't announced any dates when they will stop support.  In fact, Google is still supporting Generation 1 Chromecast devices that were released in 2013.

It sounds like you should have support for your Gen 4 for quite a few years to come.
