Hello,
If I use an ethernet connection connected via a USB-C hub then some apps think that there is no valid internet connection, however apps still continue to work, but some settings etc are not possible as a result. This is when running Android 12.

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! That is an interesting interaction, would you be able to tell me what apps this issue occurs in? To be safe, I would also make sure that your Chromecast's firmware is up-to-date on its updates. It may also help to clear out the cached app data on the affected apps to see if that helps as well.
